Refuting Christian Arguments
By Jalal Abualrub
Here is a 20-page rebuttal on an article recently posted by David Wood on his blog. David Wood has increasingly become among those who attack anything and everything Islamic. It amazes me how such people claim to seek the truth, but make it their mission to discredit Islam and its Prophet using wicked ways and methods, accusing the Prophet of Allah, salla-llahu alaihi wa-sallam, of everything one can imagine of false accusations even if what they accuse him of is actually found in their own books and their own religion.

By doing this, David Wood and his likes seek to avoid discussing the major shortcoming in their religion, that is, the creed of Trinity that neither Jesus nor any prophet who came before him ever preached or called to. Instead of discussing and comparing the core foundation of the two religions, and knowing that they follow an entirely new creed that they have invented, bashers of Islam attack the Prophet’s personality and character and come up with bizarre conclusions about Islam that Islam and its Prophet never heard of.
The truth is that the conflict between Islam and Christianity is not about the Prophet’s marriage to nine women as it contrasts to Trinity. The conflict is between the Islamic Monotheism and Trinity, the concept of the One and Only Creator of everything against the concept of multiplying God by three. The hostile bashers of Islam know they cannot win this conflict, so they divert attention to any and every other issue they can come up with to the point of absolute absurdity.
Muslims should always remind mankind of the true difference between Islam and Christianity. However, Muslims can also counter the claims that hostile Christians and Jews invent about Islam and then take the focus back from discussing minor issues to discussing the core difference between Islam and Christianity: the creed of Islamic Monotheism as compared to the creed of Christian Trinity.
There is no doubt that Islam will always win this discussion, especially since no one has ever been able, and no one will ever be able to effectively explain what Trinity really means and how it is supposed to work.
I ask Allah to benefit everyone with this article, and may Allah’s peace be blessings be on Prophet Muhammad and on all of His other Prophets and Messengers.
As-salamu alaikum warahmatullah
